At the core of our product and service development
Fyfestone believes in continuous improvement and development,
but not at the cost of over-use of scarce natural resources or
inefficient production processes. Both Fyfestone, and our parent
company, Aggregate Industries, take a responsible approach to the
consumption of natural resources, the management and minimisation
of our waste and the impacts our operations have on the communities
within which we operate. We are also mindful of the increasing
customer requirement to describe the environmental performance of
our products and services.
With this in mind, we have developed a dedicated symbol to
highlight those products that have especially strong sustainability
credentials.
You will notice the “Sustainable” logo on some of the pages as
you look through our web site.
This icon, with the supporting text ‘Sustainable solution that
won’t cost the earth’ has been created to embody the principles of
innovation, sustainability and regeneration and has been assigned
to those products and services in our range that conform to
sustainability criteria, ranging from the use of recycled materials
to systems for sustainable drainage.

and in future communications.
