Brief
To provide an aesthetically pleasing masonry unit which will
meet the rigours performance needs of this type of application
where sea water is involved and to perform without any threat of
structural or aesthetic deterioration.
Solution
Fyfestone wet pressed split masonry in a pitched finish was
chosen as the superior aspects of high strength, high density and
very low porosity ensure the whole life performance benefit when
used in such an extreme environment.
