STRAWBERRY FIELDS PRIMARY SCHOOL, GARFORTH, LEEDS
Brief
To provide an aesthetically pleasing masonry walling unit which
will meet the aesthetic and structural needs of this type of
application. To achieve empathy with the local stone colour of this
area and to achieve a rustic weathered appearance.
Solution
Fyfestone masonry with a tumbled finish was chosen as the
preferred finish for this new Primary School at Garforth in Leeds.
The particular blend of buff and grey colours helped to achieve the
required appearance in the tumbled masonry.
