FLATTED DEVELOPMENT AT WEMYSS BAY
Brief
To provide an aesthetically pleasing masonry walling unit which
will meet the aesthetic and structural needs of this type of
application. Achieve empathy with red sandstone colour with a clean
sharp appearance using a split finished masonry unit.
Solution
Fyfestone masonry with a split face was chosen as the preferred
finish for this flatted development in Wemyss Bay. A wet pressed
red split product provided empathy with the local red sandstone.
Product performance due to closeness to the sea was a factor in
choice of product.
